We are currently seeking an Internship & Employer Partnerships Coordinator (Freelancer) to support our students in Azerbaijan by developing internship opportunities, managing employer relationships, and coordinating the educational internship process from start to finish.


Role Overview

As the Internship & Employer Partnerships Coordinator, you will play a key role in connecting Ironhack students with valuable internship opportunities across Azerbaijan.

This position combines business development, employer relationship management, student support, and operational coordination to maximize internship placements and improve student employability outcomes.


Key Responsibilities

Employer Partnerships & Internship Development

  • Identify, engage, and develop relationships with companies across Azerbaijan to create internship opportunities for Ironhack students.

  • Build and maintain a strong network of hiring managers, HR professionals, and business leaders.

  • Present Ironhack’s talent pool and educational programs to potential employer partners.

  • Identify market opportunities and implement strategies to increase internship placements.

Internship Placement Management

  • Match students with internship opportunities aligned with their skills, career goals, and program outcomes.

  • Coordinate the end-to-end internship placement process between students and employers.

  • Support employers throughout the internship lifecycle.

  • Monitor internship progress and ensure a positive experience for both students and partner companies.

Educational Internship Administration

  • Manage all documentation related to educational internships.

  • Ensure internship agreements and required paperwork are completed accurately and on time.

  • Coordinate with students, employers, and internal teams to maintain compliance with educational and regulatory requirements.

  • Maintain accurate records of internships, employer partnerships, and placement outcomes.

Student Success & Career Support

  • Guide students throughout the internship search process.

  • Provide support regarding internship expectations and workplace readiness.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internship-related inquiries.

Reporting & Performance Tracking

  • Track internship placement KPIs and employer engagement metrics.

  • Maintain CRM systems and partnership databases.

  • Prepare regular reports on internship activity, placements, and employer pipeline development.


Requirements

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

  • Experience in employer relations, recruitment, business development, partnerships, career services, education, or a related field.

  • Strong networking, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Excellent organizational and stakeholder management abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Languages

  • Fluent Azerbaijani (Azeri) and English (required).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with universities, educational institutions, training providers, or internship programs.

  • Knowledge of the Azerbaijani labor market and local business ecosystem.

  • Familiarity with technology, digital skills, or talent development sectors.

  • Experience using CRM systems and reporting tools.

  • Student internship placement rate.

  • Employer satisfaction and retention.

  • Timely completion of internship documentation and compliance requirements.
