About the gig
We are looking for dynamic, talented, and experienced Digital Product Management Lead Teachers to lead a specialized bootcamp for one of our corporate customers. We seek professionals passionate about the Product world who are eager to share their expertise with aspiring product managers.
As the Lead Teacher, you will lead, inspire, and educate a group of approximately 35 junior profiles who are already working within a company and have a technical background in product. You will help them gain the strategic skills and knowledge needed to excel in this rapidly evolving field.
Key Responsibilities
Academic Leadership: Oversee the entire academic experience of the Ironhack bootcamp.
Instruction: Lead teaching and learning activities to ensure students reach the outcomes set by the Education Team, teaching the curriculum designed by our global team.
Remote Classroom Management: Facilitate an energetic, safe, and supportive online community for students joining from all over the world.
Support & Collaboration: Work alongside a Teacher Assistant who will support you in managing the group of 35 students. You will also collaborate with Program and Project Managers to ensure professional goals are met.
Mentorship: Challenge students to think strategically as they turn ideas into real projects, providing timely and accurate feedback on their progress.
Lesson Planning: Prepare and adjust balanced lesson plans based on the group's success and difficulties.
Requirements
Experience: +3 years of experience in Product Management.
Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of the product lifecycle, UX/UI Design principles, Design Thinking, and Agile methodologies (Jira, Confluence, Figma).
Data Literacy: Ability to analyze product metrics and create actionable dashboards (PowerBI, etc.).
Full fluency in English is required, as all classes and internal communications are conducted in English.
Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills, empathy, patience, and a can-do attitude. You should be organized, reliable, and open to feedback.
Passion for Education: A genuine love for teaching, mentoring, and making an impact on people's careers.
Position Details
Format: 100% Remote (Students worldwide).
Dates: October 1st – November 5th.
Schedule: Part-time bootcamp; Monday to Thursday, in the afternoons (4:00 PM – 6:00 PM).
Duration: 5 weeks + 1 day.
Student Profile: Junior professionals with a technical background in product.
Team: 1 Lead Teacher + 1 Teacher Assistant for ~35 students.
